Welcome
The Babson Entrepreneurship Club (BEC) is entirely student-run and is positioned to complement the offerings of other clubs at Babson. The BEC has become the schools premier networked resource to promote entrepreneurial activity among students, alumni and researchers who are starting, working for, or advising new businesses in high-growth environments.
Club Goals for the 2007-2008 Academic Year
The Babson Entrepreneurship Club is the flagship club of the graduate program. The goal of the club is to inspire and encourage students to take on the challenge of entrepreneurship and to provide the resources, whether through peers, faculty or alumni, for students to succeed in their entrepreneurial ventures.
As the flagship club for MBA students, the mission is two–fold:
- Encourage and inspire entrepreneurship on campus by hosting a variety of
activities and events - Provide a networking platform for student entrepreneurs to connect with
one another, the faculty, alumni, and internal/external resources
Throughout the year, the club invites entrepreneurs to campus as part of the Speaker Series, and works closely with Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship to provide access to other resources from the broader Babson community.
